Handstand Health & Sports Medicine
TumbleTek is pleased to partner with Handstand Health & Sports Medicine. Handstand Health and Sports Medicine was founded by Sarah Huppi Campbell in order to offer quality sports medicine care to youth and the general public that don’t usually have access to a Certified Athletic Trainer. As a gymnast and a coach, Sarah saw a great need for better medical coverage in the gym and decided to combine her two passions. Under the direction of Dr. David Petron, MD (Orthopedic/Sports Medicine Specialist at the University Orthopedic Center), Sarah will promote optimal health and safety, provide emergency medical coverage, injury prevention and early recognition, treatment, and rehabilitation to return to full participation in tumbling, dance, cheer, and other athletic pursuits.
Sarah is a Certified Athletic Trainer, as well as a former level 10 gymnast and USAG certified coach. She competed heavily in gymnastics for 13 years and has 10 plus years of coaching experience at gyms throughout the state of Utah. Sarah’s passion for gymnastics, teaching, and caring for others led her to pursue a career in sports medicine. She obtained a degree in athletic training from SUU and has been certified since 2013. She is also a member of the National Athletic Training Association. Sarah has been working as an Athletic Trainer for the BYU Athletic Department for the last two years.
Sarah's company, Handstand Health and Sports Medicine, has partnered with TumbleTek to provide quality injury prevention, treatment and rehabilitation services right here at TumbleTek's facility. In addition to working with her patients at Handstand Health and Sports Medicine, Sarah also teaches tumbling classes and is TumbleTek's primary resource for initial assessment and care for any injuries that may occur during TumbleTek classes. She is thrilled to be coaching again and partnering with TumbleTek to provide sports medicine services. Sarah cares about her athletes and loves helping people recognize their potential, make improvements, and optimize their health.
